Description

The profiles for Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom provided by this collection correct the optical aberrations commonly found in “classic” German and French lenses, vignetting, and distortion. They are activated within the Lens module in Camera Raw and Lightroom. For the vast majority of lenses, a set of several individual profiles is provided (e.g.open aperture, f/5.6, and f/11). Only mirror lenses require a single profile. All profiles were created with Sony “full-frame” cameras (Sony A7, A7R, A7RII, A7R5, and A7II), but can also be used for cameras of other sensor sizes and manufacturers. All have been checked against photos of various subjects and reissued if necessary. The correction profiles included here are particularly useful for landscape and architecture shots with wide-angle lenses or zoom lenses, as they then largely eliminate the sometimes very annoying edge shading and curvature of straight lines. However, they ensure natural-looking photos free of geometric distortions in any kind of imagery (portrait, fashion, reportage, cityscapes, etc.).

Note that for the profiles to be recognized by the Adobe apps, they must be copied to the correct folder:

Mac : Users>Username>Library>Application Support>Adobe>CameraRaw>LensProfiles>1.0

Windows : User>AppData>Roaming>Adobe>CameraRaw>LensProfiles>1.0

Note that profiles of lens brands not included among the subfolders categorized within Camera Raw/Lightroom (« Zeiss », « Schneider ») will appear in the subfolder « Sony ».

• Meyer-Optik Görlitz/Pentacon: Orestegon 29 mm f/2.8, Lydith 30 mm f/3.5, Domiplan 50 mm f/2.8, Oreston 50 mm f/1.8, Orestor 100 mm f/2.8, Orestegon 135 mm f/2.8, Orestegor 200 mm f/4 ;
• Zeiss-Ikon (Icarex) : Zeiss Skoparex 35 mm f/3.4, Tessar 50 mm f/2.8, Dynarex 90 mm f/3.4 ;
• Schneider-Kreuznach:  Curtagon 28 mm f/4, Curtagon 35 mm f/2.8, Xenon 50 mm f/1.9 ;
• Novoflex: Noflexar 35 mm f/3.5, Noflexar 200 mm f/3.8, T-Noflexar 400 mm f/5.6, Auto Bellows Noflexar 105 mm f/4;
• Schacht Ulm: Travenar R 135 mm f/3.5.
